Cards of Distinction’s unique handmade cards featuring the artwork of Tersia Wienand had people talking about unique invitations since 1997. Tersia loves to create and that reflects in the uniqueness and originality of each set of cards leaving her artistic hands.

A myriad of cards ranging from wedding and matric dance invitations to christenings and thank you notelets are made with great enthusiasm. Needless to mention that when it comes to deadlines, it is well known that Tersia is praised for her reliability. No request is too small and each card will be made with love and care. Our Secret

Purpose designed and hand crafted invitations

Our designs are unique and after consultation all cards are made to the client’s specification. The client will receive a minimum of three example designs to choose from. Great care is taken in the design of cards, in setting the theme and style of the occasion and reflecting the unique, individual personality of the client. At Cards of Distinction your ideas will come to life.

We will keep you informed at all times and provide proofs before cards are printed.

Paper

The basis to create exquisite invitations

Local and imported paper including the beautiful Japanese Chiyogami paper is used to create the most exquisite invitations for celebrity weddings and anniversaries. Chiyogami paper has been hand stencilled or printed with traditional Japanese imagery using bright colours and patterns. Paper Mojo

  • Iris folding Patterned paper

    Iris folding is a paper folding technique involving laying strips of patterned paper across a shaped aperture, working from the outside inwards, until they eventually meet, forming a spiral.
